Hi res | Lo res
Back for the second week in a row, the BIKE GODS come this time to Chino for a nice, invigorating pleasure ride. Since news came out of the Empire's demise, the park has been nearly flooded with bikers, eager to reclaim the land that was once theirs. Today the BIKE GODS meet an unusual number of human bikers during their journey, lapping many of them around the course.

Sprocket Rocket is so excited about the ride that Zippy has trouble getting his rear wheel to stay on. It turns out that Sprocket couldn't control his giddy anticipation of the day's playful romp in the park, and got some chain grease all over that wheel.greasedwheel.jpg

. . . And going . . .

One of many hills in this up and down section of the course presents no challenge whatsoever for the strong BIKE GODS.uphill.jpg

The BIKE GODS stop to rest their tiring but spirited bikes, taking in the great view from Glider Hill.

TsaiBorg leads as usual, charging up the next of many more steep and deadly hills to come. The incredible hill climber makes it look so easy . . . thill.jpg

Byondo merrily makes his way along another section of the challenging trail.

Do you sense a trend here? The only way you'll see TsaiBorg going up a difficult climb is from behind. Nothing goes up a mountain faster than the Borg.t2.jpg

Byondo calmly and methodically tears his way up the narrow and precarious path to the top of San Juan Peak. No human has ever seen this summit until now, as we bring the view to you.

It was such an arduous climb that Chainey buckles over in exhaustion just at the top, throwing Byondo off in the process.bdead.jpg

Zippy MacPhee celebrates the return of BIKE GODS to San Juan Peak. It was first conquered by BIKE GODS in 1896. Soon after, evil took its root there in the form of Darth Spider. For nearly a century, this spot was the centre of the evil Tarantula Empire's sinister doings. The reclamation of the peak is truly a moment to rejoice . . .

. . . And so Air Mapster does just that, wearing the traditional BIKE GOD sunmonocle of celebration.pirate.jpg

TsaiBorg gets back to business, leading the BIKE GODS back down the perilous slope to start the journey home.

Zippy MacPhee zips along Telegraph Canyon Trail so fast that he has plenty of time to enjoy himself on this log before the other BIKE GODS catch up on their way back home.log.jpg

Everything is a blur as the BIKE GODS race down the trail at top speed . . .

Even thick bushes and rutty trails can't slow the blazing speed of the BIKE GODS as they near their final destination of the day. It has been a fabulous ride.focus.jpg
